Areas We Serve

Advance Construction Pros service areas across the Kansas City metro

Family owned, based in Kansas City, Kansas, working both sides of the state line since 2017.

One crew, both sides of the state line

Advance Construction Pros provides roofing and exterior contracting to homeowners across the Kansas City metro, on both sides of the state line, spanning Wyandotte, Johnson and Leavenworth Counties in Kansas and Jackson, Clay and Platte Counties in Missouri. We are family owned, based at 615 N 62nd Street in Kansas City, Kansas, and we have been working on homes here since 2017.

That state line matters more in this metro than a border does in most. It runs straight through the middle of the market, and plenty of contractors work one side of it only. We do not, which means a storm that crosses the line does not turn into two different phone calls for you.

It is also why we keep a page per city rather than one generic service area page. Every community here has its own building stock, its own permit desk and its own age of housing, and a roof in a 1950s Wyandotte County neighbourhood is not the same job as a roof in a newer Johnson County subdivision.

Why homeowners here call us

You get an owner, not a salesman

This is a small family business, not a franchise. The person who quotes your job is on the job while it is happening.

An owner on every job

The person who quotes your work is on site while it happens, not a commissioned salesman who hands you off.

Licensed and insured

Licensed and insured for residential work on both the Kansas and Missouri sides of the metro.

We know a storm claim

We document what is actually on the roof and tell you honestly whether it is a claim. If it is, we know how to talk to an adjuster.

Open 24 hours, seven days

Call or text at any hour. After hail the tarp matters more than the paperwork.

The Kansas City metro, and what it does to a house

Greater Kansas City is a two state region built around the confluence of the Missouri and Kansas rivers, where the Kaw meets the Missouri at Kaw Point in Kansas City, Kansas. The Mid-America Regional Council, the region’s metropolitan planning organisation, covers nine counties and 119 cities and towns, which is a useful reminder of how many separate little jurisdictions sit inside what everyone here just calls the metro.

It breaks into recognisable pieces. The Kansas side runs from Wyandotte County and the industrial bottoms out through Johnson County’s newer suburbs. The Missouri side splits between Jackson County and the east, and Clay and Platte Counties north of the river, where Kansas City International sits. I-70 carries the metro east to west, I-35 runs it south west to north east, and I-435 loops the whole thing, with I-635 tying the Kansas side across the river. Kansas City itself sits across four counties.

One climate covers all of it, and that climate is why Kansas City roofing and exterior work is not the same job it is somewhere mild. The National Weather Service puts the average July high here at about 88 degrees and the average January low at about 20, a routine annual swing of roughly 68 degrees working every roof, every run of siding and every length of gutter on this page, before you count the hail that arrives most springs. It is also why the older housing stock on the Kansas side tends to be on its second or third roof.

How we work across the Kansas City metro

The person who quotes your job is on the job while it is happening, not a commissioned salesman who hands you off. The crew that starts your work finishes it rather than being swapped for a subcontractor half way through. We document storm damage properly and tell you honestly whether it will support a claim, including when it will not, which is the part most people are not expecting.

Most of what we do across the metro is roofing, from full replacements down to a single failed pipe boot, and the gutters and siding that usually come off with the same storm. Inside, the same crews handle bathroom and kitchen remodels.

Not sure whether we reach you? Ring (913) 725-8790 and ask. The edges of a Kansas City metro service area are rarely a straight line, and it costs you nothing to check.
